These are Leah's first real smiles. One morning Jared was talking to her and she just started smiling like crazy, she has been smiling more and more everyday since.

Just some more of the pictures we had taken. The Picture of Jared and Leah is my new favorite.

We went and had our first family pictures taken on Friday and they turned out great. We got some really cute pictures of Leah too. After a while she got really fussy and we had to stop and calm her down but she wouldn't so we had to stop taking pictures, we will just have to try again in a month or two.

Leah's First Month

This video is a little long, but it is totally worth it. This is a video of Leah's first month of life and everyone that she was able to meet along the way.

Leah's first bath. She was doing okay at first and then we washed her hair, she really didn't like that at all.

Leah and Tacoma

It took Tacoma a little while to get used to Leah, the first night was miserable, any time Leah would make a sound Tacoma would whine and vise versa. Needless to say nobody got very much sleep the first night at home. Now, Tacoma is very protective of Leah, when ever she cries Tacoma is the first one up to see if she is okay. We are glad that it is this way and not that Tacoma is jealous of her.

After 39 long weeks of pregnancy and 10 long hours of labor it was all worth it. As you can tell we are very proud parents. Jared and I were able to spend about an hour alone with Leah which was a very special time for the three of us.

In the Hospital

The very minute that our Little Leah was born our lives changed forever. I have never been as happy as I was the moment the doctor placed Leah in my arms for the first time. She was amazing, I never knew I could love something so much that I just met. Jared and I were so overwhelmed with joy at seeing our daughter for the first time that we both started to cry, it was an amazing moment that I know neither of us will ever forget.
