She was caught in the middle of her reading session, really she just likes to pull all of the books off of the shelf and play with them. I have caught her looking at some of the pictures though.

Updates

Well, I am soo sorry again for not keeping up with the blog I know that this is the only way that many of you get to see her. Pictures will be coming soon I promise. We have just been crazy busy around here and the blog is not the first thing on my mind.
Anyway some updates Halloween was great Leah was a flower and a darn cute one if I do say so myself, my mom coordinated with her and was a gardener they were so cute together, for those of you who do not know Halloween is a big deal in my family and because of that my mom's dog was also a apart of their ensemble, he was a bumble bee.
And probably the most exciting event that has happened at our house is that Leah has begun to walk!!! Just a few steps but she is definitely moving. It is so exciting to watch her grow, truly a miracle.
Leah also has count them 4 teeth now, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. It is so funny to watch her use them, she loves to crunch on her snacks.

Updates

I am sooooo sorry that I haven't been updating as much as I should. Some exciting things have happened in the past month. Leah has started to eat solid food, she loves carrots, peas, and sweet potatoes so far. And the newest thing to happen is that my baby girl is now mobile, that is right my child is on the move, crawling that is. It is completely amazing to watch her figure it out. It is still a lot of work for her but she can crawl a little bit before she falls over.
On July 10th Jared and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary with dinner and a movie by our selves for the first time. It was the first time that we had left her with someone to do something other than work. Thanks again Mimi
Jared also turned the big 27 on the 25th. Happy belated Birthday sweety we love you.
Also Jared's best friend Adam aka Uncle Adam turned 27 on July 28th so a big Happy birthday to you too Uncle Adam. And another birthday in July was my brother Uncle Jay he turned 23 on the 26th.
Happy Birthday to everyone we love you all so much!!

On a sad note, my brother came home on Friday to find that his home had been broken into. The thieves took a watch, some cologne, a 45 pistol, and about 3000 dollars in cash. Oh and a backpack to put all of the goods in. Any way, I just wanted to extend this out to all of you to keep him in your thought and prayers, we are all just so thankful that he was not home when it happened. We love you Jay Bird.

We went to Bittersweet park one day and let Leah play in the grass for the first time. She seemed to really like it, let's hope she doesn't have a grass allergy like her mom.

Jared and I were working on the backyard one day and Leah was in her seat when we looked over to check on her she was sitting like this. Sitting on her own is just around the corner I think.

Meeting some Farm Animals

Leah met some chickens and pigs at Paul and Cheri's house (my cousins). She seemed to really be interested in the pigs and kept staring at them, it was very cute but then again I am bias.

All Grown Up

She is growing so fast, 5 months already can you all believe it? I sure can't. She is drinking out of a big girl cup with Mimi's help and in fact, she is driving. Thank goodness those days are far away, the driving at least.
Some small milestones have happened around our house in the last few weeks. Leah is now rolling from back to front and then to her front again, my day's with of an immobile child are numbered. Leah has also begun to giggle, it is absolutely precious and as soon as we can get a video of her giggling I will post it.

A night with the Correll's

Addie is starting to really become interested in Leah, it is really adorable how cute she is with Leah. What do you think about Leah's poker face? Auntie Rachelle was holding Leah while we were playing cards and Leah would not stop looking at the cards that were in her hand.

Leah's First Av's Game

This is Leah's first Avalanche game, she looks so excited right! She did really well, the only time that she was a little restless was when the Av's would score and they would sound off the very loud buzzer other than that she did really well.

Leah's First Easter

Leah's first Easter was pretty great, she was able to meet more family for the first time and wear a very pretty dress that her Nana got her. In the bottom picture we decided that Leah looked like she was praying. She is so precious, sometimes I can't believe she is ours.

Cool Shades

Nana and Grandpa got Leah these sunglasses when they were in Florida. How cute is she with them on!!!

Tummy Time

Leah is doing really well on her tummy, she has even tried to roll over a couple of times. She can lift her head up almost all of the way now. She is getting so big!!
